Lake Charles Chapter

The Cajun French Music Choir was formed in 1990 in Lake Charles, LA. by members of the Lake Charles Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association. The primary purpose of the Choir is to promote the singing of songs in the French language.

Our choir is made up of approximately 20 vocalists, a director, a guitarist and accordionist and a violinist.

The Cajun French Choir performs whenever possible usually at no cost. They normally are invited to perform at schools, funeral homes, churches, fund- raisers and benefits and perform yearly at our annual festival in the Burton Coliseum.
