Kurt Daigle is the son of Hilary and Elvina Daigle from Lake Charles, LA. , and the father of two children, Justin and Morgan.  With inspiration from August Broussard and Wilbert Daigle, Kurt started playing drums in the late 1970's.  He has performed with August Broussard and the Calcasieu Ramblers, the Spicy Cajun Band, the Tate Cove Ramblers, and Don Fontenot et Les Amis de la Louisianne.

During his 32 year music career, Kurt has played at every major Cajun and folklife festival in Louisiana, as well as venues in Florida, Texas, and Branson, Missouri.  He has played on numerous recordings.  He received LeCajun Awards for the Best First Recording of the Year in 1999, and the Best Recording and Band of the Year in 2001.
