The Lake Charles Chapter awards two $500.00 cash scholarships every Spring and Fall  to one boy and one girl for each semester.

Lake Charles CFMA also has an endowment established at McNeese State University and awards another scholarship to a student majoring in French.  The Lake Charles Chapter must submit three names to McNeese University and McNeese will make the final decision.  To qualify for the McNeese Scholarship, a student must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA and should be majoring in Education, but General Studies will be accepted.  For more information on this scholarship, please contact Renee' Daigle, CFMA Education Chairman,  at 337-802-4077.  The deadline for this scholarship is also June 1, 2011.
